| After playing it off and on I realized two things. One that Sega must hate it's fanbase and two, that the plot is very VERY CRAPPY! The reason why I say this is because Sega has tried to force this stupid concept onto us all. And yes, I'm talking about the werehog. It's slow and un-sonic like and all it's levels make me want to throw the game disc like a frisby. I had to stop playing recently cuz I really get fustrated with the night time levels using the Werehog. It may soiund like I'm being too harsh but, I'm not. To tell the truth I usually like all the new Sonic 3d games. I like this one too - the daytime levels anyway. That's the only thing that is keeping me interested in it. Which is bad for a game whose whole gimmick is terrible. What can I say? The daytime gameplay is exactly how sonic is ment to be played. The music is not all rock and roll now which is a ok change though, I miss it alittle. Overall, I say don't buy it, rent it and use a SD card or Gameshark to unlock all daytime levels and play through them. Overall: 7.5/10

| lol I actually know one person that likes this game. he says it's the best sonic game ever and the werehog parts are better than the day stages. It's a kid in the 7th grade I got him to beat the werehog part I couldn't beat yesterday btw, now I can play as regular sonic again!

| The day stages are pretty good, except the missions. I HATE THE NIGHT STAGES!  Especially the night stages in Eggmanland, there are 5 of them. The boss design is pretty good though, exept the Dark Gaia Phoenix, the Dark Gaia Moray, and the Dark Guardian. Oh yeah and Dark Gaia. DARK GAIA IS SO STUPID!!!!!!!!!! Over all, the day stages are good, and the night stages suck. The story sucks too.
